I was supposed to analyze the user data from my work-related websites today. I decided to log into the fructose-free analytics first (just to check it out) and ended up being horribly inspired and made a new post about HFI by region. Link to the blog: fructose-free.tumblr.com/I was excited about this data a while back when I first started doing analytics, but I wanted to wait until I had a proper collection of points. We typically only have data from people who speak up on the forum and self-report their location. My analytics let me know about all the lurkers on my blog, which gets me super nerdified and makes me want to wrap some medical tape around the bridge of my glasses. I discussed the map with my coworker (who is from Africa) and she made mention about how she wonders if it's only a condition that afflicts the northern-climate. I started pointing out the regions that had high incidents and it's all regions that were "frequently visited" by people from "Northern Europe" (the quotes are me attempting to be Politically Correct). I'm not very familiar with my history about Western Asia, so I can't answer for that particular region, but it seems to be a haphazard hypothesis at best. Of course this data could always be skewed by adoption of computers, medical knowledge, and language. Also, there are two(?) people from Alaska reading my blog. One in Wasilla and one in Fairbanks. Or it's the same person and they like to move around in Alaska a read my blog a lot.

Yep, I'm the Lewisburg in PA on your blog. A Reading link.......interesting. I know several years ago there was a young girl in the Harrisburg/Camp Hill area. There was also a family around Philadelphia for awhile - I think actually in New Jersey. I wonder if either of them moved? They are both big enough cities that I don't think they would link through the little town of Reading. Interesting.

I'm actually located in Morgantown, WV, but WV doesn't even show up with any hits on the map, so I don't think the map is very accurate. I guess it's putting me in Pittsburgh instead? That's the closest location on the map that I could attribute my hits to.

Oh man!!!! I might have missed that also. I've never ever seen that listed that way. And I only skim cheese doodles too. Guess I'll have to start being more diligent on them now.
On the bright side - for me at least - you might have saved Regina from getting sick. And me from tearing my hair out trying to find what she ate 2 or 3 days ago.......

Curly Sue is my pug's name. She never leaves my side (unless someone else has food). I'm glad I'm not the only one who hasn't seen a fructose listed like that. I think Cheese Doodles used to be safe, but it sounds like they recently "improved" their formula. EDIT: I just now saw these posts. I don't know why they didn't show up in my *new* section sooner. :\
