I found a great new chive dip made with Cream Cheese. I've never tried chives with Regina. Anyone eat chives?

Yes they are the green tips of a type of grass closely related to onions. As with most green leaves etc I can tolerate a little. The amount in a cream cheese should not bother anyone but the most very sensitive person. I have both chives and Garlic chives growing in my garden I cut them and add them to salads or mix them in home made mayonnaise / salad dressing. If I'm doing a party / dinner I sometimes will do an egg mayonnaise starter as follows:- Soft boiled free range egg. cut in 1/2 and both laid yoke side down on a small plate. spoon over mayonnaise and sprinkle chopped chives over the top, then for those who like it I lay anchovy fillets across the backs of the eggs and add a few baby lettuce leaves on the side to finish the dish off. Well I like it I'll redo my home made recipe for mayonnaise and right it down this time. then post it up.
