Does salt have fructose in it? Someone had posted that fleur de sel is OK. Is this right? Are all kinds of salt fructose free? Does fleur de sel have iodine in it?

Hi,
It is hard to find Iodized Salt where I am in Kansas (KC suburb). I realized only a year ago that the salt I was buying was NOT Iodized and had to hunt for some. I found Morton's salt was o.k. This was something I never thought to watch out for, because in Canada salt is iodized. Something to check when buying table salt.

Someone spotted over a year ago that some table salts have sugar sneaked into them, it was Tammy I think.

I only eat Celtic Sea Salt, and it doesn't have iodine or anything in it. I have to eat a lot of salt for low blood pressure due to Dysautonomia and love it so much better than table salt.

If its sea salt it will have naturally occurring iodine in it. "Celtic" I wonder Irish, Welsh or Scottish? They are the Local Celtic groups locally.. well yes there are some in Brittany, France as well. I know Wallmart in the USA sell some English Sea salt.. it is in huge flakes and very popular if expensive! It seems to be recommended by a lot of top chefs anyway. www.maldonsalt.co.uk/Apparently Salt has been made there for about 2,000 years! I wonder if there's a sell by date on the packet?
