Anyone have an Aldi's around?

We had one open in our town yesterday so I went to check it out. It's pretty small and they mostly carry their brand of stuff, but I found some Popcicle brand diet popcicles that are ok and I found some brat like smoked sausage. The brats were Nascar brand. We haven't tried them yet, but I was really excited. Jarrett's last day of school was yesterday so I'm hoping the eating will be easier. I have to admit we've cheated a little this weekend. Actually I worked, but DH cheated. I haven't been the greatest either!! I let him eat a squeezable yogurt yesterday. Of coarse he woke up with a stomach ache. I"m hoping now that he's really able to see the difference even something little makes that he'll start making choices for himself instead of me forcing it. Oh, he had his MRI Tues. It went really good. No prob's with anesthesia or anything. It did show a spina bifida defect at L5, but since it's not teathered there's nothing they can do for it. We have to watch when he goes through a growth spurt and if he get's back pain they'll repeat the MRI. I was really hoping for an "easy" fix. Now it's basically there's nothing we can do for it, he'll have to just live with it. Uggg, the older 2 are done with school today, my brother in law's getting married Sat, the kids have formal pics tomorrow, we have to go try on the tux's and dresses today, DS has baseball pic's this afternoon, and Jarrett has his last soccer game. Then I'm trying to get a garage sale together for next weekend!! Good thing I'm keeping busy on my week of vacation!! I did go see a movie last night. We saw United 93. Good movie, unfortuantly it made me question our government even more!! We'll I better head to the garage to start weeding things out there,.

I have an Aldi's and have been there a few times in the past. I haven't stopped since I found my diagnosis online, though. I might have to check it out again, soon. Let us know if you find anything else safe.

I do have an Aldi's not too far away. I don't go in very often. The last time I was in, it was mostly their own brands of things, and they also change where they get the things made from. So if you find something in one part of the country, it doesn't mean it's the same in another part of the country. And it also doen't mean it'll still be the same the next time you go. So if you find something that is good, stock up on it if you want to be sure.

Of course our's is only a small one. Maybe it's just this store.

And let me know if you do find somthing, I'll check here. You never know, maybe it comes from the same warehouse........

And talking about our little, out-of-the-way place we live....... We FINALLY got a super wal-mart. Isn't that incedible that we didn't have one all this time? I'm soooooooo excited that we finally have an option to Weis Markets. (which is the only gocery store in the area)
