Intolerance/Allergy Discussion on Reddit

I tend to see it as my duty to spread the word about HFI online. Where ever I see a possibility for high visibility, I'll respond to an article or thread.

Today on Reddit there was an article about Intolerance vs. Allergy. It made the front page. I really am more of a lurker on Reddit, but decided to respond to the discussion in hopes that someone else with an unknown fructose intolerance would see the post and something would click.

Lots of people joke around on the threads, but some are serious. Hopefully my post will lead to some new-found awareness, but it'll probably end up at the bottom of the discussion.

Here's another article for you to respond to. Pretty sure its from Sydney, Australia. Nice to see HFI being cited, but it is not an acquired disease like the article suggests. Also thought it was funny that it said that people with HFI MIGHT end up feeling sick......right, might....

LOL, that article is quite horrible. I can't even follow the author's train of thought very well.

And the facts about HFI are very, very incorrect.


EDIT: Uh, just looked through the rest of the site. The articles appear to be completely random. Very odd. Oh, it's free news articles.

OMG, editing these two sentences about HFI is painful.
