Micah had his endoscopy done last Thursday and we got the results back today that everything looks good for him. The endoscopy went great and the inside looks wonderful also. I am relieved that his biopsies came back normal and he does not have celiac disease which is great. However we are nowhere closer to getting an answer to what is going on with the little guy. I will call first thing on Monday to see if we can speak with his Dr. and see what we need to do to continue the testing. From the endoscopy he said his liver looked good. (could this mean we need/don't need to test for HFI? Does the enlarged kidney only happen in some people?)
Micah seems to be OK with dairy as long as it has NO lactose in it. Leads me to believe he has some sort of sugar issue but when they tested his sugars then his lactose came back normal...so why can he not digest that?
I am so lost right now. I am happy that his tests came back normal but wish we had answers, as I am sure many here are. Thanks for all your understanding and support.
