I was wondering if its safe to use cornstarch? I can't find anything on this board regarding it. Thanks

If you mean cornstarch as in cornflour, then interestingly that is something they use in they use to treat Glycogen Storage problem as I discovered whilst we were in hospital recently. The girl in the bed next to Megs had been diagnosed years ago with it and their treatment was feed little and often and every 3 hours they dissolved a quantity of cornflour in water and she drank it, even at 2am and something to do with the way the starch worked it solved the problem.
I must say I use alot of it, I use it with chicken or beef stock for all gravies and with milk and a bit of glucose for custard.
