That sounds insane.
What does the pills do? Corrects a genetic disorder? Inserts the enzyme we can't produce and does it way down the metabolic line? I've only skimmed the text, but can't find any information on how any of these "treatments" is supposed to work. Not from either of the three products pages.
I also noticed that while the heading reads Hereditary Fructose Intolerance, in the text of the FAQ, it says

"The purpose of this webpage is to assist Skin Abscess sufferers in identifying alternative treatment options available to them. It also takes the hard work out of deciding between the various available Skin Abscess treatments by presenting them in an easy to compare format."

I'm extremely sceptical as well...

Looking at the ingredient list and what the herbs treat they may alleviate some of the secondary symptoms you may get eg flatulance, bowel pain, irritations etc but no mention of replacing the missing enzyme required to break the fructose down. To develop something that only works once it has hit the liver ( which is where the process goes wrong) is extremely hard as it has to survive the acid and other enzymes on the way, this is why there is no substitute enzyme along the lines of lactase and sucrase produced so far.

thanks so much for the replies I thought it was to good to be true and really don't want to waste $$. My dh I know feels bad about my diet and we had a horrible time this weekend finding a restaurant I can eat at. It is frustrating that they can't find a cure for this . I am fine most days with not complaining or wishing I could eat certain things but this time of year I get kinda sulky.
