Saw this on the Diabetic Friendly website, and was wondering if this s/f pumpkin filling would be HFI safe. It does say is contains pumpkin solids and is sweetened with aspartame. diabeticfriendly.com/sasulowfatno.html.

My old ancient lists say no squash or pumpkins of any kind. So the pumpkin solids would not let me give it a try for Regina, even though she does fine on aspartame even on a daily basis.
I've never given her any to try, so maybe my old info will be wrong and she can have a new pie for Thanksgiving?
How about the rest of you? I'll be anxiously waiting your answers, too. After all, she now just adores popcorn, peanuts and olives!!!!

I would not eat anything with pumpkin or squash either. But then, I mostly try to stay away from aspartame as well. Mainly because the taste makes me feel sick, even though I might tolerate it digestive-wise. Oh, and I also eat popcorn, peanuts and olives (but only popcorn in any large amounts).

Thanks for getting back with me in reference to the sugar-free pumpkin mix.
I'll stick with her favorite sugar-free pudding pie with s/f cool whip on Turkey Day.
Thanks again.
