www.freshplaza.com/news_detail.asp?id=53830Don't say I didn't warn you. I tried to post a reply: I have hereditary fructose intolerance. It's guidelines directly conflict with the information you presented here and, if I were not informed, this information could put me into a coma. Please update this article. I think the fructose intolerance you are referring to in this article is actually dietary fructose intolerance. But the site really doesn't like me and won't allow my comment even though all the guidelines are met. I guess they don't like my IP address?

I tried from my ip to post a comment, and it won't take mine, either. Maybe we are on the wrong continent?
anyway, if it does show up later, I was just lazy and only copied and pasted your comment. Guess that makes me guilty of internet plagiarism......

I tried from my computer at work, no success for me either. In an attempt of writing something different, I elaborated a bit and wrote: Hi, I have Hereditary Fructose Intolerance, and if I would eat ANY kind of fruit or normal sugar, I would be at best violently ill and at worst fall into a coma with possibly death following. The advice in this article seems right for the disorder called Fructose Malabsorption (formerly inappropriately named "dietary fructose intolerance"), which is something else. Could you please clarify that it is not Fructose Intolerance that you are refering to in the article, but Fructose Malabsorption? Thank you. I'll try from my home computer tonight as well. If nothing works, we might have to try and contact the author through e-mail or if the site has some administrators? (I haven't looked too closely on that.)

Fred contacted the author (I think it was the author) of the article and notified that their commenting section wasn't working. He also asked them to clarify the type of fructose. He copied me in his email. EDIT: Fred also is encouraging others to email them about the article and ask for a correction to be issued. EDIT#2: I didn't know if you wanted me to say this or not, Fred. You're very reclusive here recently, but I know you'll read this.
