Great find, Laura!!
I scanned some of her articles and was surprised to see she considers beer to be relatively high in fructose. That seems to be the only alcoholic drink I can tolerate (provided it isn't one of those "unrefined" brews she refers to).
Regardless, she seems to have a good grasp on the difference between HFI/DFI. It's refreshing to read more information on this!!

Yeah, aside from the alcohol article, she seemed to be spot-on. I can't determine what form of fructose intolerance she has from the article. But, by her content alone I'd say she has DFI.
I haven't heard of any HFIer ever drinking white wine. Kind of jarred me a bit to see her recommend that over beer for HFIers.
EDIT: I'm wondering if we should inform her of our forum so she can gather more information for her HFI portions of her articles.

Mike: Sarah occassionally will have a glass of DRY white wine (not now that she is pregos, obviously). When alcohol ferments, it "eats up" the residual sugars in the wine, so, the higher the alcohol content, the less sugar in the wine. Red wine, made from the skin of the grape, is always too sweet for her. She can tolerate about one glass of wine, but will usually not finish her glass.

Yes, I gathered she has DFI.
I was also surprised she recommended white wine. A dry red would be a better choice, at least in my experience. And beer always seems to be the safe route (for me). Corona. Mmmmm.
