Pretty cool site: www.sugarstacks.com/It gives the view a visual representation of how much sugar is in a produce using sugar cubes. I used to eat Cherrios (before self-diagnosis), but now, seeing that one sugar cube, I wouldn't even attempt it. It's amazing how, so many years ago, I would eat a bowl of Cherrios but wouldn't touch that cube of sugar. Just seeing, now, that I wouldn't eat the cube of sugar so why would I eat a bowl of Cherrios. Kind of cool representation/visualization for parents of HFIers out there.

Hey, what a cool site, there are certainly a few surprises in there. Its much easier to visualize in cubes than in gram weights.

Wow, LOVE that site! Thanks so much for sharing. I used to eat Cheerios, too, but I haven't touched them since my diagnosis. I also used to eat Eggo waffled (w/out syrup), and it looks to be about the same as Cheerios.
I'm posting this on my Facebook page.

How do you post this to your Facebook? I would like to post this to my facebook page too. I like this link too. It is so much easier to get a visual of the sugar in this way.

Just go to the "links" section and post the link (there should be a button at the bottom of the home page), and then you can comment on it before it gets published. It just scrolls on the news feed similar to a status update. Hope that helps.

Cheerios always made me ill as a kid! My mom always chose "healthy" cereals. I never understood why Cheerios always made me feel so sick. Now I know!
