Can anyone please supply me with a list of sweets/candy that is suitable HFI, my daughter Hannah is 3 years old and I would like to introduce her to sweets/candy if anyone knows what is suitable. I have been looking at the Wonka website, but don;t know what to order.
Thanks

I am a bit confused, how can you eat smarties if you have HFI, they are chocolate sugar coated sweets?

Irene, American Smarties are different. They are a sweet/tangy candy with the main ingredient being Dextrose. Dextrose = D-glucose which actually helps to transport any free fructose molecules through the intestinal lumen so not only are they not harmful, but they can be helpful in handling fructose and in keeping blood sugar levels high enough. The Smarties that you are referring to are similar to our M & M's.
