I used to grind my own flax till I found Chia. Chia is the same seeds originally by the aztecs (recently rediscovered) that is used for Chia pets.
I have a container of it ground. As far as I know both these things have only trace fuctose.
What is the official verdict?
My ground chia says on the container it has nutritional properties supeirior to that of flax.
Something about not harming your B-6 the way flax might.
The general idea here is these are both traditional anti inflamers and anti diabetic things that help your entire system to not be inflamed.

Warning: see my post on phytates. I think this is no good for people with fructose allergy.
