Hi, my name is Erica and I am mom to Graham (almost 3). Graham has had GI issues his entire life. He also has celiac disease, hypogammaglobulimenia or common variable immune deficiency (the doctors can't agree which immune disorder he has), and he has an autism diagnosis as well. He has had chronic, bottom burning diarrhea his entire life. Yet, his most recent scope revealed no GI damage or abnormalities at all. Nothing.. all disaccharides, pancreatic stim test, and morphology from both the upper and lower scope were normal! His GI thinks I 'm crazy. So, we're on the long waiting list for a metabolic specialist. I've been pestering Kristen up a storm and she has been very helpful. At this point, I'm not sure if Graham has HFI or a glycogen storage disease. Either way, he is loving his new diet. Who thought I would actually let my child eat nothing but rice, potatoes, eggs, and chicken and be happy about it. Since going on the diet about 2 weeks ago, he has already gained a pound! Erica

Thanks for sharing. I think most of us had problems as kids. Don't let the doctors make you feel crazy/bad, like I've mentioned before, my parents were actually sent to a shrink, years before I was diagnosed. Kristen is a great source. Keep us informed.
