Aside from Fred's Biscuits, what's your latest food obsession?
I seem to go through cycles of certain foods I become obsessed with eating. I attribute this with a lack of certain minerals/vitamins in my diet. Here recently it's spinach--spinach salad, sauteed spinach, spinach pizza... anything really.

I can't get enough home french fries. I peel and cut up Idaho potatoes, drizzle them in olive oil, and put a bunch of herbs on them and bake until golden brown. I could eat potatoes all the time. I must need the potassium or something. I had them for supper tonight and can't wait for more potatoes tomorrow!

Regina's current passion is Hebrew National Beef Salami and butter bread. Not sure what's up with that. It's all she'd eat if I let her.
She also goes through cycles.

Must be the potassium. I typically have one form of potato at least once a day. I also crave bananas, but can't eat them. Love-hate relationship there. Smelling them or eating banana runts seems to partially solve that problem.
MMmmmm... potato chips. I love the kettle-cooked varieties. I would eat a whole bag if given the proper hypoglycemic levels. I have to limit their availability in my house or I'd be horribly obese. LOL

Potaoes - bleugh! While I, too, go through periods of craving specific food, potatoes have never been one of them. I eat without protest french fries and potatoe chips, raw potatoes and mashed potatoes, but it's not as if I ever yearn for it. I have wanted spinach for a while and ate it yesterday, but apart from that there's been nothing unusual recently. I must have a fairly well-balanced diet right now. ;D

I craved mac & cheese and sauteed spinach all through my pregnancy and ate french fries like a crazy woman.
But lately I haven't had any food obsession.
My favorite snack will always be Triscuit crackers with cheddar cheese slices.

Milk, milk, milk and more milk. Oh - and butter. I used to be obsessed with salt and potatoes, but most of those cravings stopped soon after I started with the fructose restriction.
Oh wait - safe saltines with goat cheese and turkey pepperoni. So yummy.
And, of course, Fred's biscuits and homemade bread.

Milk. hmmmmm. Didn't even think about milk because it's not one that goes in cycles. Regina drinks lots of milk ALL the time. Her average is about 2 quarts a day. Some days 3 quarts. Every day. It's really the only thing she drinks. Sometimes she'll drink diet pepsi, then it'll only be a 1 1/2 - 2 quart milk day.

I drink a lot of milk as well. Maybe not as much as several liters every day, but maybe an average of 1 liter on days when I'm at work and a little more during the week ends. And cheese. I've always eaten a lot of cheese.

This sounds AWESOME.
And my husband totally yells at me for drinking too much milk. I usually stick to water nowadays and only have milk with my cereal.

VERY yummy!
I use a spreadable goat cheese made here in Maine on Whole Foods 365 Brand unsalted saltines with Hormel Turkey Pepperoni. The kids don't like the pepperoni, but Sawyer LOVES the goat cheese and crackers. Well, most of the time he just licks the cheese off!
I was obsessed with milk when I was younger but stopped for a few years when we were vegan - I am SO happy to have my milk back!
