I recently tried removing fructose foods from my diet, after struggling with similar symptoms to fructose intolerance since infancy . I noticed a turn around within a couple day but assumed that it was mild enough to have some in my diet...that was until I had is some bread and ended up, with nausea, stomach cramps, weird bowel, and I’m not sure wether this is related but I loss of bladder control Can someone with fructose malabsorption react that strongly? Thanks...by the way Im 16 years old

smile- My son also experiences the loss of bladder control and I have read that other children do as well. We don't know if our issue is DFI or HFI, but we are leaning toward HFI for a variety of reasons. Have you discussed your symptoms with your parents? Glad to hear you found relief with the diet change. Keep it up! -Sandra

Thanks for the reply ...I have talked with my parents and they are also leaning toward HFI. We are finding it rather hard to cut it right out of my diet . What are you reasons for leaning towards HFI and do you have any meal ideas, products or brands? Thanks
