Avoid!
All very meals are very sweet!
I have not been able to eat at any restaurant or take away, serving these types of food.
Home made is fine as you are in control of the ingredients and you can substitute one sweet item for another none sweet item.

I've got a local Thai restaurant that I'm STILL trying to find an alternative dish for me. Even if the sauce is labeled as spicy garlic, it's still sweet. Thankfully I can order the dish without sauce, which is boring, but at least edible.

Yeah, I've also given up on the Thai food. I went out with my coworkers a few months ago, and the waitress basically said "Everything we have here has some sugar in it." Gee, thanks. They at least were nice enough to cook me up some fried rice, but I get tired of being the food freak at the table causing all the trouble.

I get tired of that, too. People always try to make me something special. I usually just bring a couple large dishes that I can definitely eat to potlucks. Eating in restaurants is the worst. Especially if you've never been there before.

Mike: We gave up on Thai I long time ago, though it is one of my favorites. We even had the little old Thai woman who was cooking all the meals come out of the kitchen to to talk to us (I call the chef out often) and tell us she wouldn't use any sugar or anything sweet----and it still tasted like it was full of sugar. If we're stuck in a group setting at a Thai place--sarah gets deep fried tofu (yummy) or some plain tofu dish

I will really miss Thai. I will put it on Adam's "come up with a Cari safe recipe" list. : D

Ha! Tried to order a dish without sauce without luck. Apparently they consider their sauce to be the level of spicy sauce they add to the order in addition to the normal sauce they put on everything. I gave up on Thai.
