Cut up cooked chicken pieces or Tuna Diced egg if desired Enough sour cream to make creamy Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning and Salad Dressing Mix to taste. Celery Salt and/or pepper if desired.
This doesn't even sound good to me. But I was at Sam's Club the other day, and they made it this way and gave out samples. It was wonderful. At first the Sam's employee who made it didn't tell us what it was. None of us standing around guessed. I never would have believed Sour Cream if I hadn't tried it myself.
The Ranch Dressing Mix does have dried onion in it. I figured this was close enough to onion powder, which Regina does fine on, that I took the chance. She has had it several times with no problems. I'm pointing this out for those who can't do onion in any form.
Now that I know she can have this mix, she also has been eating it with the sour cream as normal dip.
I also used this mix with Duke's Mayo and a little yellow mustard, and a tad of celery salt for Chicken Salad. Also very good.
