I found this recipie on their website. I thought I heard somewhere that sugar twin was ok. I could be wrong(not the first time, LOL!!) Alot of their recipies have fruit in them, but this looked like a good cake one.
White Cake
3/4 cup (180mL) unsalted butter, softened
2/3 cup (160mL) SugarTwin® Granulated White
3 large eggs
2 1/2 cup (600mL) cake flour
1 Tbsp. (15mL) baking powder
1 tsp (5mL) baking soda
2/3 cup (160mL) skim milk powder
1 cup + 2 Tbsp. (270mL) 2% milk
2 tsp (10mL) vanilla extract
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour 2 8” (20cm) round baking tins.
2. In large bowl, cream together butter and SugarTwin®.
3. Add eggs, one at a time, beat until just blended.
4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, skim milk powder.
5. Add vanilla to milk, set aside.
6. Stir flour mixture into SugarTwin® mixture alternately with milk mixture, ending with milk, do not over-beat.
7. Pour batter into prepared tin, smooth top.
8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until skewer inserted comes out clean. Let cool for 10 minutes before turning out on rack.
Someone let me know before I make it!! Also, who's the Trader Joe's shopper? I see one just opened in St Louis Park and although it's about 2 hours away I thought about checking it out in the next few weeks!! I just call on Nancy for a visit also!!! Didn't know I was inviting myself did you Nancy!!! What itmes do they have again that would make it worth my trip?? Well my lunch is beeping at me.
