Heat 1 cup chicken broth until hot. Add 1 heaping TBLSP flour to 1 cup of milk. Add mixture to broth and cook until thick.
You can add mushrooms, celery, chicken, or potatoes to the broth before the milk. This will make cream of mushroom soup, or cream of potato soup, etc.
