Used this spice mix on a deep fried turkey as a dry rub and mixed it with heated olive oil to inject into the turkey. It turned out really well. I have also used a little bit mixed with flour and pork to make great meatballs. I got it off of Recipezaar and the link is included below. It contains no sugar unlike most of the brands I have found here in Germany. It makes alot of spice mix so make sure you have a large container to store it in. Cajun Spice Rub Mix 1/2 cup kosher salt 1/4 cup chili powder 1/4 cup spanish paprika 2 tablespoons onion powder 2 tablespoons garlic powder 1 teaspoon cumin 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper 2 tablespoons dried thyme 2 tablespoons dried basil 2 tablespoons dried oregano 2 tablespoons coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon white pepper 1 tablespoon fresh coarse ground black pepper Recipe ID: #92066 www.recipezaar.com/92066

Thanks for the recipe! My husband is going to make this soon - he looooves Cajun spices and was excited when I told him about this "safe" version.
