A recipe from my brother-in-law, Jason Cassandra. What you need: 1 box of Spaghetti Water Salt Oil Butter 3 cloves of Garlic (chopped) Parmesan cheese (grated kind) Cook your Spaghetti in your water with lots of salt. I'm going to say, start with 1/8 Cup, and work your way up depending on taste. While that's cooking, throw the garlic, oil (around 4TBL+), and butter into a frying pan. I like buttery tastes more than oily tastes, so I put in more butter (about 1/2 stick +). Cook the garlic till you can smell it on the other side of the house (or at least two rooms away. You might need to add more butter/oil if it burns off quickly. If you use a small skillet, you should have about 1/4"+ in the bottom of the pan. When the pasta is finished, drain it, throw it back into the pan and toss with the garlicy-oily-butter stuff. Serve topped with Parmesan cheese. Feel free to adjust the recipe as you see fit. I just eyeballed it myself. Mine turned out WAY too salty and garlicy (I used 4 cloves). Of course, this goes great with garlic bread.
