Yes!
I take a Vitamin C and zinc slow release every day.
Just watch out for the horrid Orange flavour ones that are chew-able and contain enough sugar to make me ill for hours!
The ones I take are EU Rho Vitamin C + Zinc capsules which last for 10 hours.
I get my supplies in the UK and Europe from Lidl a chain of supermarkets through out Europe.
Have just been amazed when I looked at the list of ingredients!
They contain sucrose as well!
Is nothing safe?
OK back to the chemist shop (drug store and get looking again!)
keep smiling..

I can find vit C without any sugers of any kind, but they all have rose hips. Does anyone know what rose hips are, and are they safe? I have never given my daughter any because it's from a plant, and I just never knew for sure. For Vit C we used to put "Fruit Fresh" on her cereal. It's a perservative for fruit. (It doesn't contain fruit, just dextrose and citric acid)

I was told that being low on Vitamin C is common for people on our diet especially since the body is incapable of storing it.
I take a 1000mg of Vitamin C a day. The ones I use are made by Jamieson Laboratories (http://www.jamiesonvitamins.com/en/index.aspx) and since I started taking them I have felt better than ever. I used to take a multi-vitamin by the same manufacturer (also sugar-free) but it turned out that it had very little vitamin c and that was the only thing I that I really needed.
Jamieson has a lot of HFI-friendly products so it might be worth taking a look at.
