Can someone help me with potatoes? The BU site says white potatoes OK, not sweet potatoes. (Duh!) Obviously, fries or anything treated with sugar and some seasonings are not ok. But what about unseasoned, unflavored potato chips? Is it true that baking a potato raises its sugar level? Also, are potatoes considered a 'limited' item?
Since I cannot tolerate even one leaf of spinach, I have been hesitant with everything from the ground. (Even a little dill pickle relish can do me in.) But I still want to know what the consensus is out there for most of you.
Thanks!

You guys are too awesome! This has been wonderful & encouraging help.
It's funny (yeah, a real hoot) that Coley and I both don't do well with fries, but OK with potato chips. I was asking about potatoes for that very reason - wondering if I had over-indulged in the amount, or if it was the type, or maybe I just plain missed something obvious (always a possiblity)...
Always good advice to wait, try a little, and wait. - mary
