Popcorn is okay, well, so long as it's not that dreaded kettle-cooked variety. I was meandering (like I usually do) around Wally-World (Wal-Mart) and decided (against my better judgment) to mosey down the chip aisle. At the beginning of the chip aisle is the location of the popcorn--which, I recalled, I was out of. So I looked for the cheapest, on-sale, branded variety. Orville Redenbacher has a new type of "Natural" popcorn in a variety of flavors: Buttery Garlic, Buttery Salt & Cracked Pepper, Simply Salted, Simply Salted 50% Less Fat. From what I recall, they don't have the 10-page list of ingredients (which always makes me happy because I don't have to read as much and shorter lists mean the product is less-likely to have sugar in it), but I can't find the ingredients online. I was torn between garlic and pepper. In retrospect, I don't know why I didn't get both... I picked garlic. It is the bestest. And, I don't feel too guilty about making a bag, because they're MINI bags! Yay! I always feel guilted into eating a whole bag of popcorn if I make it--either that or sharing it with my dog (who is only TOO happy to help). I don't share the garlic kind with her. >_> Linkage: www.orville.com/products_natural_all.jsp
