I actually did a search this time, and couldn't find any brand name HFI-safe ice cream. Does anybody know of any, or do I just have to buy my own ice cream maker? (I was thinking one of those ice cream balls from LL Bean, 'cause they're cute and make small amounts.

Bryers USED to make a vanilla ice cream, but I haven't been able to find that in a long time. Klond**e makes a sugar free Klond**e bar that is ok. and Fudgsicle makes a sugar free version. Other than that, we usually make the ice cream ourselves since the Klond**es are vanilla and Regina prefers chocolate. We also just freeze SF pudding, if I'm out and don't have time to make ice cream. (Apparently the sensor is taking the "IK" out of the brand name.)

I’ve never found “ice-cream” that was safe, but there is a brand of Life-Saver Popsicles: www.popsicle.com/products/individual/index.cfm?upc=02226There is also another Popsicle flavor that doesn’t have sugar, but it isn’t as fun as the Life Saver one. Also, in the summers, I’ll make my own “frozen yogurt” by mixing pixie sticks and yogurt and freezing it in those plastic Popsicles shaper. You can also use a Dixie cup & toothpick if you don’t have one of those Popsicle shapers. My husband suggested I add SweetTarts into the mix to make a “bubble gum ice cream” Popsicles. Well, that was just gross.
