Every now and again, I get tired of paying outlandish prices at my local grocery and don't feel like cart-fighting with people at Walmart & Meijer. I don't know why, but I rarely have problems with carts at Target.
Anyway, I was moseying around and noticed the cookie packages look a lot like the cheese straw packages. That got me excited, so I was VERY happy when I got to the cracker aisle and found out that Target carries cheese straws. I was previously paying $5 a box at TJ Maxx (the last box I bought, the bag was opened--that was disappointing). And I couldn't afford Betsy's cheese straws. They're $3 a box at my yuppie neighborhood. They might be cheaper if you don't live in a yuppie neighborhood.
They have Cheddar, Asiago Parmesan, and Jalepeno. I got the latter two. They also had some interesting boxed cereals, but I was too lazy to look through all of them to see if I could eat any of them. Plus, the shredded wheat and grapenuts are a LOT cheaper.
And they have some nice boxed pasta meals (that are actually 4 servings and not 2 servings in disguise). I tried one with mushrooms. It didn't taste fantastic (the mushrooms weren't cooked long enough and the sauce was brown), but it didn't make me sick. It does have onions in the mix, but even thought I'm sensitive to onions, I didn't get sick.
Now I'm wondering what other Archer Farms products don't have HFCS. It would seem that Target's market is more natural and doesn't add HFCS to everything.
