Hershey Sugarfree Chocolate Bars Does anyone have a bag at home that they can type ingredients? I can't find at the stores and on line they don't give ingredients.
I can buy on-line. Easter is coming and I so want Sarah to get something besides smarties.

Hello!
I was able to order some candy for my daughter's Easter basket from this site. SugarlessShop.com:
What was really nice was that they listed all the ingredients. Some candies are okay for Lily, while others are not.
Please read through the other posts. A few were kind enough to share the kinds of candies that they like. Bottlecaps, smarties, pixie sticks.
Also, if you have a Walgreen's nearby, I found a lot of fun candy in bunny containers that were safe.
Good luck.

I was at Walgreen's and they have the Hershey's SF milk chocolate. They had the dark before but not the milk. The ingredients are Maltitol; cocoa butter; chocolate; polydextrose; cream (milk); polyglucitol; milk fat; contains 2% or less of calcium carbonate: cocoa processed with Alkali; maltodextrin; sodium caseinate (milk); soy lecithin; natural and artificial flavor; PGPR, emulsifier
But my list says Maltitol and polydextrose are not tolerated.
Anyone have luck with Maltitol?

Heidi, This is the topic of many discussions on this board. Some do just fine with maltitol, Others do not. Regina eats it daily with no problems. Laura can't do it at all. This is the most current, complete list that we know of for sugar and sugar substitutes: www.bu.edu/aldolase/HFI/treatment/sugar_table.htmIt is on Dr Tolans site. It says Maltitol is tolerated depending on purity. The best guess would be to take a stab by who Sarah seems to mirror the most on this site and go from there. It really seems to be one of those items that will be different for everyone. Sorry there isn't a cut and dried answer for you, but when dealing with FI I would guess you're used to these iffy answers by now.

Wow. The purity statement makes sense. We sometimes have problems when I think we should be okay.
I have tried tweaking some chocolate recipes and best I can get is a fudge style. So I would love to find a manufactured chocolate.
