Is Cacao- without sugar - OK to use on recipes?

I know Nate cannot tolerate cocoa. We have tried recipes with dextrose and aspartame and both resulted in BAD diarrhea - almost immediate. I remember that Tammy said Regina has no problem with it, so I think that this may be one thing that some people can have and some cannot.

I am not a confirmed HFI, but cacao makes me feel bad too.
