We recently found Klondike Sugar Free Ice Cream Sandwiches. I'm always a little hesitant with anything new, even when it looks fine. Regina's been eating 1 a day - every day - for a week now and everything seems to be just fine. I didn't even have to walk outside while the air in the house clears out after she goes to the bathroom. (First sign.)
We also have an all-out search going for all the old Nesquik SF chocolate we can find (to make chocolate milk). Right now we are up to 21. We'll be in good shape for time to come. Maybe they'll see the light and change back before we run out. Only bad thing is that it's my brother in the lead of who found the most. I HATE letting him win at anything. ;D

HeHeHe. We found another legit word that the auto sensor won't let us write on here. That's what put the *** in the middle of the word.

I'm glad you found another yummy dessert for Regina!
Can I help in the search for chocolate milk? Are these chocolate packets? What did they add to the new that makes it non-HFI?
That sensor is funny. I'm surprised it finds things like that even in the middle of the word.

The ice cream sandwiches say "slim-a-bear" on them, and have "sugar free" written on the front. That's what made me pick them up in the first place.
Nestle makes Nesquik. It's a chocolate powder that you stir in your milk. They've made a sugar free version using Aspartame as the sweetner for years. Regina loves it. It comes in a plastic can. We put it in her special "Tweety" jar and she can make it herself. Almost 2 years ago, Nestle jumped on the Splenda bandwagon and changed the formula. It's now sweetened with sucralose. Problem is that since we live in such a rural area, it takes things awhile to reach us. (Sometimes we even have to pipe sunshine in, ;D) So until the new formula reached our shelves, it's pretty much a lost cause looking for the old formula.
So we sent e-mail's out to everyone we knew, and they passed them on to their families, and we are looking for ALL the old ones we can get. We're just going to seal them in a food saver, and freeze them. I did contact Nestle, both by e-mail and by phone, who pretty much said, "oh well, can't help you".
So yes, if you do happen to find any made with aspartame, and you don't want it for yourself, I will take it and also pay for the shipping to get it here. Thanks.

I bought a pack of these. There's NO WAY I can eat even half of them! I've worked on one bar twice and still have 3/4 of the bar left. They don't make me sick, but I keep expecting them to make me sick, so I stop eating them. Hopefully my husband can finish at least half of the box for me.

Regina says "You're nuts!" (That's actually a compliment from her). You don't like them because you think they should make you sick, even though they don't. lol.
I read this post to her an hour ago, and she's still giggling, holding her hand to her forehead, shaking her head and saying "Geeeeezzzzzzzz". Then she finally went up and took one out of the freezer for herself.

I did manage to finish half of that bar that I've been working on for a week last night. Now only 1/2 left! Eventually, I figure, I'll get over this knee-jerk reaction I have and actually be able to enjoy a few sweet foods again. Fudgesicles are still my favorite.

Since this post is a few years old, does anyone still eat these klondike bars without problem? I found them today at the store and know my daughter would love them but am a bit nervous about them.
