I adore cereal. Mostly I adore Shredded Wheat. I also tend to eat Corn Flakes, Rice Krispies, and Cheerios. I wasn't all too fond of Corn Flakes or Krispies, but I tolerated them.
Since figuring out what I presume to be HFI, I have reduced my cereal list to Shredded Wheat (plain or bran), but I was wondering what other safe cereals might be out there that I haven't been brave enough to try?
Puffed Wheat and Puffed Rice also seem to be safe.

That's all that's on our list, too. Other than oatmeal, but limited. Ralston Purina used to make a cereal called Sunflakes. It was like a frosted flakes kind of thing, only sweetened with aspartame. Regina ate that everyday with no problems. But alas..........they sold their cereal division and I haven't been able to find it since.

Thought I'd report on a few other cereals I haven't had problems with. Though, I think I might still have a bit of a tolerance level (Cheerios still doesn't bother me). Found this one Saturday: Kashi 7 Whole Grain Puffs www.kashi.com/ourfood/7WholeGrainFoods/KashiPuffs/Default.aspxI was wondering about the Buckwheat (as the label said it was a grain-like fruit) but I didn't have any symptoms. I've also never experienced any problems with Grapenuts or other straight-fiber cereals.
