Shall we reminisce about all the ways we weren't able to participate in this candy-focused event??? ;D
My brother and I always liked trick-or-treating, but my dad would always end up with all of our candy, except for the sweet-tarts. I was soooo excited when a house gave out sweet-tarts or smarties. One year I sold my candy to my friends at school. I think I charged 5 cents a piece.
Happy Halloween to all!!

I always got so excited at places that let ME pick the candy I wanted AND they had Sweettarts. I think my Mom & Sister loved having two younger kids in the family that hated chocolate. My brother and I would sort through our candies and decide which ones we thought we could eat, and which ones we couldn't. I think the sweetest candies I kept were those toffee Mary Janes with peanut butter in the middle. I liked the peanut butter.
Whenever I heard about kids going into a sugar coma after Halloween, I always thought it was similar to the illness my brother & I fell into after eating candy that we shouldn't have been eating.
I think I just liked dressing up and running around in the dark. Today I'm a pirate, ARGH!

My friends always kept pencils and stickers around for Regina. She would get real excited over those. Tonight she came home with a couple bags of chips, and a halloween glass. She likes it handing the candy out just as much as she likes getting the chips.
Her best costume ever was Little Bo Peep and her 2 dogs were the sheep (covered in cotton balls)

Mike: Sarah's brother and father always got her candy, except for the few sweettarts and smarties she would find. Now, when we buy candy-we gots TONS of tricker treaters-she makes sure to get a few bags of candy that have all the dextrose treats. Unfortunately, the bags that contain runts, contain almost no bananna runts-she is very upset Colormis-sarah (and all the teachers at her school) were also pirates. We found matching chicken outfits for Ethan and the dog (they are both about 15 pounds now On a seperate note-Sarah tried the sugar free Coolwhip-and didn't really like the first few tastes; however, she is ADDICTED now. We've gone through 2.5 tubs in I think 2 weeks. (OK.... I'm having some too)

I never really ate any of it and always ended up giving it to other people. I would eat the chips, candy cigarettes and dots/ swedish fish and didn't touch the rest.
This year we didn't account for the fact of how big our neighborhood is and ran out of candy within an hour and had to give out my newly bought pixie sticks

This is a prime example as to why you should hoard all the blue pixies. That way, when Halloween comes around and you run out of candy, you can give out all those blue pixies that you didn't eat all year long.

I put my big pile of blue pixies in the bowl, and the kids snatched them up like hot cakes. It was really funny.

I handed out all my monster blue pixies at work the day after Halloween. I had about ten of them. I only had to visit three offices before they were all gone.
