I finally heard from the dietician (phonecall) and while she wasn't able to give me much over the phone (I'm praying that's not a bad sign), she is researching a few things I asked about and hopefully will have some answers when we get there next Tuesday. Good news I suppose is that she revised their HFI diet list (I think last month) so I'll be able to see if anything has changed from the 2001 version I got (same as Dr. Tolan's list). If anyone wants a copy, let me know.
Also, I plan to bring in a list of foods that are unclear and see if there's any way to truly know whether they are OK or not. If anyone wants to add to it, please post or e-mail me. Lisa

While you're e-mailing the list, please put me on it, too. I'd like to see what, if any, changes are on it. Tammy

Well, good news I think, the dietician's list is still virtually the same as Dr. Tolan's. Mine previously had a discrepancy or two - like it said corn was OK, and I can tell you from experience it is not. She is going to look into a few items like brown rice syrup, pumpkins & other squash and a variety of flours. I will try to post the list on Monday as I'm getting ready to go out of town for the weekend.
The greatest news for us is that Nate is up from 15th percentile for height and weight to 50th percentile. He gained just over 2 lbs in less than 2 months.
She did say we should try to get a few veggies in (since there's been no luck yet) and suggested making a veggie puree soup or a pesto sort of pasta sauce with allowable, finely chopped veggies. Has anyone got a tried and true recipe for either of those type of things? I have "invented" a few things lately and they haven't gone over well.
