Normally, I don't look at energy drinks, but I was intrigued by this one as it's a DIET (calorie burner) energy drink. I picked it up at my local grocery store. I didn't look at the other varieties, but the Green Tea one was sugar free. I've been drinking it slowly for about an hour with no side effects.
Ingredients include: Carbonated water, calcium lactate, concentrated green tea from tea leaves, phosphoric acid, potassium sorbate and potassium bensoate (to protect taste), natural flavors, aspartame, caffeine, acesulfame potassium.
I love that ingredient, "natural flavors". It opens so many doors.

This sounds promising. What flavor is it? The only ones I've found so far around here are "citus" or fruits flavors. So then I stay away from the "natural flavors". I haven't seen this "Enviag". I'm guessing that's the brand name of it?
Regina drinks a lot of milk, and diet soda. So something else in a bottle would be great.

It's just the green tea flavor. The other two flavors are peach & berry. Here's the website: www.enviga.com/It might just be the fact that I don't normally consume aspertame, but I started to feel a bit queasy two-hours or so after drinking half of the can. I didn't get sick-sick, but definitely felt a need to eat way more food that usual afterwards. It might have just been a conditioned response. I still can't eat sugar-free instant pudding without feeling odd.

Regina does fine on aspartame, so that won't be a problem for us. I think I may give it a try, but not until after Easter. We're headed to my Mom's in Phoenix, AZ (We're in PA) for the week, so think we'll just play it safe until after that. It'll sure be nice to have it for this summer, though, if it works out.
Anyone know of any good "local area" products out there to pick up while we are there?
