I finally ventured into the diabetic section to get some glucose tablets. Target was all out of pixie sticks, so I thought I'd pick the next thing I could think of (which started out being smarties until I remembered the diabetic section).
I noticed they have sugar-free meds there (nyquil & the like) and some boxed sugar alternative. Has anyone tried this sugar substitute? I didn't see any bad ingredients, but I didn't want to spend $6 on sugar when I still had two bags of dextrose at home.
I had never been so happy to be in a diabetic section in my life. lol I'm sure the pharmacist thought I was crazy the way I was giggling and "ooooh"-ing
