Hi. I am going to try start taking some ginger extract in capsule form, but am unsure if it contains any fructose. Does anyone know if dried ginger extract is safe?

No idea sorry Real Ginger being a plant root and a store of energy for the plant has some Fructose of course, but the amount remaining after the root has been dried and ground up is unlikely to cause you any issues if you diet is otherwise nice and safe. I occasionally use a little fresh ginger (cubed in very small amounts) in stir fries and curries. IF you do not mind me asking why are you thinking of taking this as a supplement in capsule form? Keep smiling.. keep safe

Thank you for your insight! I have migraine headaches and ginger extract is supposed to help ameliorate the pain (to an extent). I also have some gastritis and ginger is known to help soothe digestive discomfort. Of course I only want to try it if it’s fructose free and safe. I appreciate your response.

None Phama herbs that help with gastric issues are Mint leaf tea and Fennel seed tea.
Both will have trace Fructose levels but so low as to not be an issue.
