Hi,
I wondered whether there's any known method for counteracting the sickness after accidental exposure to fructose? I often used to try to fill my stomach with plain starchy food to 'dilute' the sweet food, this would sometimes stop me from vomiting or getting hypoglycemic. Drinking water rarely worked and the only other option is making yourself vomit (hence the history of bulimia), but this leaves me feeling very tired and bloated for the next day or two. Any advice is much appreciated as I've only just been officially diagnosed

I find bread/toast (like you found - something starchy)& butter or milk tends to take that away for me.

Milk works best for me. Milk and saltines, milk and cheez-its, or milk and potato chips.

HG, "balancing out" sugar with safe foods to raise the blood sugar level is a really bad idea. the damage is still being done to your liver. Time to go clean and ditch the Veg.. they are really not needed in any ones diet.
