Gerri requested the sugar-free bagel recipe I discovered the other day. I have not tried the recipe myself, but my coworker uses it every week to make bagels for her family and they love them. I'm thinking it's gotta be pretty gosh-darn amazing. www.bellagetswwaisted.com/index.php/2017/12/20/2-ingredient-dough-bagels/Obviously you'll want to not put the "everything seasoning" on the top since that has onion in it. The bagels only have two ingredients: self-rising flour and greek yogurt. I think the recipe is only for two at a time--which is very nice for my 2-person household. Let me know if you try them and what you think!

OMG! I just made these this morning. I found the recipe on Skinny taste. they were really good. we made them in our air fryer and added cinnamon on top. I bet cheese would be good too.
the official recipe is:
1 cup flour 2 teaspoon of baking powder 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt ( I used reg and only used 1/2 teaspoon) 1 cup of greek yogurt ( I used f*ge. it seems like the thickest of the greek yogurt)
mix it all together and dump on a floured countertop. make a ball then split into 4 sections. Roll into ropes then connect to make a bagel shape. brush with egg wash then add topping.
We cooked then 2 at a time in the air fryer @325 for about 8 mins, then cut open and did another couple minutes.
If you want to put them in the oven the preheat oven to 375, and put parchment paper on the cookie sheet then spray with cooking spray. cook for 25 mins and then let cool for 10 mins
of course we added more butter and cinnamon. Ryan really liked them and I was so excited! we can make egg breakfast sandwiches with cheese, or just eat with butter. They also keep in the fridge for up to 3 days, so I made a batch and then wrapped them so I can grab dough for 1 bagel and cook it rather than having to make dough every day. Plus since you can use it for other stuff, you don't have to be committed to just bagels!!
I have seen the skinny taste website use the same recipe but then roll it out to make a quick pizza crust, or a naan bread.
we will be making these again for sure.

I just made them this weekend, too! I used f*ge lowfat yogurt and they were a bit too sour for my tastes, so I'm going to try full-fat f*ge. I made poppyseed* bagels. I took some photos of the process: http://instagram.com/p/Bh4E6kmhM50 I have two leftover and am going to try toasting them today. I made the mistake of forgetting to buy cream cheese, so I just had my first with butter and free-range eggs. I'm sure they taste even better with cream cheese. *totally not sure if poppyseeds are HFI-safe, but they were the only ingredient I had to top the bagels and I didn't want to not put something on top! EDIT: the board is censoring the yogurt brand f.a.g.e because it has a bad word in it.

I finally pinned down what these bagels taste like! They taste like glazed donuts without any added sugar (no glaze, no sugar added to the pastry). I can see how they would be delicious with cinnamon butter!
I kept confusing them with donuts in my head--which is also why my husband complained about them "not being sweet". They are very good toasted and still very yummy the day after baking.
