Hi everyone, Sometimes I wake up with nausea in the mornings. No other signs of hypoglycemia, just nausea that lingers for an hour or two. And it’ll happen for 4-7 days in a row. Another stranger symptom I have is that when I drink any alcohol, regardless of which type, I have a pretty immediate tingling and irritation feeling in my bladder area. This sounds crazy, and it only happens with alcohol, within the first few sips. It likely is not related to HFI, but I thought I’d ask if anyone else has this. I was going through old threads and I happened to see one person mention it specifically in passing. I’d never related it to HFI until I read her comment. Has anyone heard of this?

One more question: do you notice short term memory loss as well with HFI?

I typically do not have morning nausea, but then I eat within minutes of waking up. If you had fructose in your meal around dinner time, that might cause morning nausea. It's my experience that my digestive system goes about processing everything BUT sugar and then saves the sugar for the very last thing. I can typically delay the nausea by distracting my stomach with something else to digest (milk, safe bread, etc). You shouldn't have nausea if you're sticking to an HFI diet. If you are sticking to a strict HFI diet and notice nausea, it might be caused by something else. No tingly feeling to report here from alcohol. At least not other than the sensation on my tongue from carbonation.
