Kristen, I dug out my old, falling apart, yellowed sugar chart, and I would say that yes, Rhubarb would be ok. It's not any higher than cucumbers. It's just not something I ever really thought about. Avacados weren't on it though, so I don't have an opinion on them. And all my stuff says "no bran". Turnips are a no.
As far as your toddler drinks, I didn't realize you were looking for one. They do make them. I was looking for some kind of "ensure" for my daughter when she got out of the hosp last spring, and the only ones I could find were for infants and toddlers. lol. Luckily she didn't need any after all. I found them at a "Home health products" place. I'm not sure if you might need a prescription for them or not. It's the kind of place where you get home hospital supplies.
I would be interested in seeing your new list, if you'd like to send it. My e-mail is listed under "members", but it is totammy@dejazzd.com
If you had ugly results (and probably stinky too?) with just 2 green beans, then you must be doing a good job with getting him fructose free. Tammy

Hi Kristen, ;D
Sorry for your nutritionist appointment, you probably feel disappointed, but if she bothered to take your e-mail you got more help then I, so hang in there. I’m interested in Coley’s constipation, is it on going or has it settled for you? I had difficulty with Zanoah for a while. The fat’s explanation is the best I’ve seen thanks. I think I said once before I was told a two-year-old should go on a fat reduced plan. LOL. I find the lists of meds helpful because we have the same brands. One point when cutting down to size adult doses in vits/ minerals check carefully because things like Vit E must not overdose, ask your Dr for the amount a 2yr can have. It doesn’t remove it self from the body. Vit c I use “pretorius Massive Cal C powder”. But it’s name says it all it’s a mega dose and I can only give her a fine dusting but I just pop some in her water bottle each day. A naturopath once told me if your low on C you bruise more easily, Kids always have bruises but I do notice Zanoah has less when I concentrate on giving C. Maybe you’ll see a pattern after a while. A question, to eat butter by the stick, great, but how many grams in your stick. I see the fasting also. Sometimes I think it’s the 2yr toddler thing happening just to busy to eat, but when it’s HFI I give straight protein, chicken tenderloin, because it’s the only thing she accepts and it breaks the pattern. To bribe/eat we cheat and use TV/video one of her favourite shows. She sometimes even asks for it on those off days, plus it keeps her mind busy while she eats and I intermittently yell Yum Yum to remind her to eat, with not much fuss. If she misses her food time I wait until next meal because if I don’t I spend all day focused on food and that’s not healthy, and it’s less stress that way. When I think I have it all sorted then she goes and cuts another tooth. It all changes then because as you know this also shows up in the BM so you never know whats going to happen next with a toddler. Teething also seems to bring her tolerance level down quite low so I have to be extra careful. I’ll be happy when the last molar is here.
Welcome aboard lisa hope you fond some answers here, I have. Regards Kerryn
