Another question! So I don't seem to tolerate coconut oil well at all, is this common for others? And I'm also wondering if anyone knows if hemp or flax seeds are ok for HFI? Also Tempeh/tofu?
One interesting thing I have noticed with my food intolerances is that for rice the only safe rice for me is minute rice. I feel sick with other types of rice... any others?
Thanks!

Tofu made from soybeans are not safe (the same goes for other beans as they all have fructose).
Coconut, to me, tastes sweet, so I tend to avoid it. This could be an ingredient like Corn, though, where it's not safe in some capacities, but safe in others. I don't see any sugars (or carbs even) listed on the nutritional information website for Coconut Oil.
Not sure about hemp or flax seeds. I can't find any information on the nutritional info website and don't have any personal experience to pull from. Other seeds, however, (like pumpkin, sunflower) have quite a bit of fructose in them. Since they come from a plant, I would err on the side of caution with seeds.

Ok thanks, typically in the past I've had to be very minimal or just exclude seeds as well as nuts from my diet. I might try a small amount if the seeds later on just in case I can tolerate them as they are supposedly very nutritious. Cheers!

I did that coconut oil pulling for a while. Was supposed to draw toxins from your body. My mouth was intensely inflamed. It took a while for me to realize my mouth was telling me no to coconut. As for me my gums and the roof of my mouth are quick to tell me when fructose or an irritant meet. Try to listen to what your body tells you
