Freezing tea and yogurt would most likely be fine. Just watch your herbal teas that are fruit tasting. (Is there real fruit in it?). I have also froze sugar-free kool-aid for summer treats, but Regina doesn't like any fruit taste. So I now freeze soda, and pudding (separately). She really enjoys both of these.

Klondike makes a sugar free "slim-a-bear" ice cream bar that is ok. And I just came from the store and Keeblers ice cream cones (I think they call them "cups") are still ok, also. So on really hot days, there is nothing like an ice cream cone.

Regina doesn't have any issues different than any other kids with tempuratures. As long as she gets plenty to drink, she is fine. Since she doesn't walk, her feet turn to ice cubes, but that is a circulation problem, nothing to do with HFI. And in the summer, I can't park her wheelchair in the hot sun without movement for hours at a time, but that is just normal common sense. If for some reason she is in the sun for hours, (walking around a car show or something), I keep a hat on her and plenty to drink, and she is fine.
