Has anyone ever had a reaction to Babybel Cheese? I've read a couple past posts that indicate some don't like the taste of it, but wondering if anyone has had a known reaction to it? The wax coating is made from paraffin and micro crystalline. Not sure about the micro crystalline, whether or not that could be unsafe.
Best, Antonia

The plain ones should be fine, some of the flavoured ones may have ingredients you would have to check. the coating shouldn't affect or have anything that would be a problem. My daughter just doesn't like cheese.

My daughter Regina eats them quite abit. I think she likes to open them up more than she likes the taste, but it's never been a problem for her

Ha! Yes, I think that's the only reason Palmera likes them too. They're so cute! I do think they have kind of a funny flavor to them though. Despite their cuteness, I'm not going to give them to her anymore. I've read the micro crystalline can be derived from corn. Highly unlikely it would transfer from the wax to the cheese, yes I know, but this is where I'm at at this point... a whole new level of paranoia.
