I wanted to make sure anyone with younger kids knew about this, since oyster crackers, pretzels, breadsticks and the like can become boring for all involved but are little kid staples. I take a stick of butter (could sub a safe oil) and melt it, then stir in any spices that are safe plus a good amount of sea salt and pepper, all to my liking. I put a bag of oyster crackers or saltines or pretzels or anything like that into a large ziploc and add the melted better plus spices mixture, toss to coat, and bake at 275 on a cookie sheet until toasted, stirring once in a while. It's a good way to add variety, as you can change up the spices as you see fit, and makes toddler/kid food a little more enjoyable.
