My daughter has had a couple of extremely pale stools this week. Is this common when on the HFI diet and eating foods without a lot of pigment? She is currently not eating any vegetables. Not much red meat either. Mostly chicken, salmon and pork.

I should also mention she eats a lot of dairy. She does not look jaundice, no yellowing of eyes or skin. She seems to feel good too, so I wondered if this was common on the HFI diet?

My daughters stool is always very pale. White even sometimes. This has never been seen as a problem by any of her drs. They don't seem to even care about it. I take that as a good sign. It does sometimes actually have a little color, but I've never worried about trying to find a pattern to it as no one cared. It's what it is. BUT no matter the color, it definately stinks all the time. Way beyond a normal stink. lol. She can clear the entire house out - we have to go outside to breathe.......

Thanks Tammy. Good to hear sickly looking poop does not necessarily equate to sickly child. Googling "pale poop" is enough to send anyone into a panic.
