I noticed that I and others on this board were regularly recommending an elimination diet to people who might suspect they have HFI. A quick search online made me realize there are no dedicated articles that clearly define the type of diet we recommend. I decided that would be a pretty good topic for my blog. Please read the post and let me know what you think (if I should modify it further). I wanted to include enough items that an individual wouldn't grow tired of eating the same thing for a week straight (as white rice and brine/broth-free chicken breast does sound exceedingly tiresome). fructose-free.tumblr.com/post/104074729605/hfi-elimination-diet

Hi Laura, great idea. Good list of foods. A few thoughts may be worth adding:
Things like meats, make sure not cheap ones that may have been plumped up with sugar solution.
After elimination, try adding something back in and see if get a reaction but only one new thing every other day.
Drink plenty of water, avoid caffeine and tea etc while doing elimination as body will go into a detox to start with and you may feel really rough for a few days. After that you should start to feel an improvement.

Thanks Charlie!
I'm trying to stay away from anything that might cause me to get sued, so I didn't include the bit about detox or "feel really rough for a few days", but I included the rest.
