Hello to all. I have recently heard of a tree called Moringa and I've heard that dry leaves of this tree are rich in nutrients and are, basically, good replacement for artificial multivitamin supplement. Since my son has HFI I don't know if it is safe for him to take this supplement. The leaves are dark green in color and are mostly compared with spinach. I've tried to find nutritional facts about them online but I can't find which sugars they contain and in what amount. If anybody knows anything about these leaves and how can they affect someone with HFI, I would be very thankful if they would share their experience with me.

I must admit I have never heard of it, however, had a quick read. I would worry that it is the latest 'fad' in health, the cure all for things, also it is plant based and plants contain fructose to some degree or another so it would depend on volume consumed at a time, and how it is used really. If only a few leaves at a time then it would be minimal amount but watch it isn't another expensive promise.

Thanks for the answer charlie. I don't think that it is cure for all things, and it might be new to western world, but in India it has been used for centuries as high quality food. I think that I'll try to give him just a little and see what will happen, or maybe as a tee. I think that if I can give him something natural that will help his immune system, that it is better than any kind of artificial supplement.
