While writhing in pain one evening, I thought of the most-fantastic idea. I thought it would be neat to draw a HFI Infographic/Comic that explains how a HFI person's body handles bad sugars.
But I hit a road block when I realized I really don't understand what the stomach does exactly and how things get processed.
Here's my quick outline:
I might have the sugars be hyperactive sugar cubes--like little children. This would make the stomach's job a bit more complicated as the sugars keep escaping and running off to the liver.
I wasn't sure if you guys agreed with the biological process or if I missed some step in the food-processing cycle. Any feedback you might have would be fabulous!
EDIT: I wanted to add that I want this to be as simplistic as possible without being inaccurate. I might remove steps if they aren't needed.

Here's my quick outline:
- First couple frames would be someone getting hungry and in a social setting.
- Eyes see people eating delicious looking food (I think I'd like the food to be an apple).
- Tongue likes the taste of the apple.
- List item 3Stomach is happily processing the apple: fiber distributed to intestines, sugars sent to the liver. There were some new sugars there, but stomach thinks the liver can handle it.
- Liver takes sugars, sends glucose off to the brain but starts to get inflamed/puffy and yellow looking when it handles the fructose and sucrose. Liver calls for help.
- Kidneys come to the rescue. Start to get ride of the fructose and sucrose. But the kidneys are getting really tired, sore, and can't handle this workload.
- Both Liver and Kidneys frantically tell the stomach to stop processing the fructose and sucrose.
- Stomach complies, but has to do something with this sugar quickly. Intestines refuse to help.
- Last frame would be someone bent over a toilet.
