Now, just hang on a minute here. We have to watch our pennies as I am not working so have to shop savvy but also safe for Megs diet..... so we sat down to dinner the other day and she chomped her way through a bowl of fresh egg pasta, smoked salmon and cream cheese. Me, I had scrapings off the roast chicken carcass, mashed potato and lots of veg to pad it out...... Hmmmmmm, something is definately wrong here.......... But, if it keeps her healthy then maybe the benefits outweigh the unfairness.....

I suppose it does give me another chance to polish my halo. One thing I have learnt from all this special food is that you can have a very yummy plate of food that is very nourishing with just a couple of items on it. so many of the cookery programmes nowadays are full of fancy dishes with hundreds of ingredients and that is what we are made to feel we must create these days for a satisfying meal, but no, 2 or 3 ingredients and you know where you are, and it all gets polished up with 3 very cross dogs denied left overs.......
